July 17th, 24th and 31st at 4:00PM - The church will be holding dish-to-pass "Picnic Suppers in the Park" every Thursday in July at Kershaw Park. We've reserved Picnic Shelter #1 nearest the playground from 4:00 to 8:00 PM each day. Please bring your own picnic gear, a beverage, and a dish-to-pass. We will fire up a grill for anyone to use, and we will plan to have a blessing and eat as a group around 6:00 PM. Call the church office for more details (585)394-2184.
July 23rd, 7:05PM - Let's catch a Red Wings baseball game at Frontier Field!
August 2nd - The University of Rochester offers free tours of the Mees Observatory on Saturday nights during the summer and the Congregational Life Social Events Committee is planning a trip to the observatory. If you would like to partake in this event, please meet in the church parking lot at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, August 2nd. I would like to car pool to Naples, where the observatory is located. We will leave promptly at 7:30. In addition to learning about heavenly bodies, we will go on a tour of the observatory and watch a slide presentation about general astronomical topics, followed by the viewing of astronomical objects through the telescope. The events will last 2- 2 ½ hours. Call the church office for more details (585)394-2184.
August 26th - On Saturday, July 26th at 8:00 PM (weather permitting) there will be a bonfire at Phil Nevin’s house to celebrate his children leaving off to college. Please come for the celebration and bring your bug spray and lawn chair! Call the church office for directions (585)394-2184.
