Canandaigua's Community-Wide Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration
We would like to thank all of you who attended this fantastic community event. We would also like to thank the talented Canandaigua Academy's Drama Department and Jazz Band for their extraordinary performances during the celebration, their directors Tom Davis and Scott Schauman, to all of the folks that baked goodies and served the lunch following the event, to everyone who participated in the essay and poster contests, and to the following supporters of this event: The First Congregational Church, The City of Canandaigua, Finger Lakes Gallery & Frame, First United Methodist Church, Morey's Pizza & Subs, St. John's Episcopal Church, Wegmans, Unitarian-Universalist Church of Canandaigua, and a donation from the Ontario County Arts Council in memory of Mary White, MLK Celebration program founder.
